Pro Shop Assistant

OverviewWest Middlesex Golf Club is one of London's most renowned courses, and is busy with members and visitors all year round. We are looking for a Pro Shop assistant who is going to bring ideas and enthusiasm, excellent customer service and interactions, as well as a knowledge of golf and golf booking systems. This role would be ideal for an aspiring Professional who wants to learn in a fast-paced environment and gain experience in a number of areas quickly.DutiesGreet guests warmly upon arrival, offering assistance and information about products and servicesManage daily retail operations, including inventory stocking, merchandising, and sales transactionsProvide expert advice on equipment, apparel, and accessories to enhance guest satisfactionOversee shop cleanliness and organisation to maintain an appealing shopping environmentAssist with the management of membership using Club Systems and BRS.Assist with event setup, hospitality arrangements, and guest inquiries to ensure a seamless experienceSkills and QualificationsA knowledge and interest in golf or a willingness embrace the sportStrong initiative with the ability to oversee daily shop activities without supervisionExcellent communication skills to engage confidently with diverse guests and team membersAbility to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as neededPrior experience in customer service roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidatePGA qualifications not requiredBenefits:Discounted or free foodEmployee discountOn-site parkingWork Location: In person
