Apply & track with Apply EdgePOSITION : Process EngineerDEPARTMENT : OperationsLOCATION: Dubai Investment Park (DIP), UAEJob PurposeThe Process Engineer drives measurable improvement across Faham Group's manufacturing operations — increasing productivity, reducing waste and defects, and standardizing processes. The role partners closely with Production, Warehouse, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Installation teams to identify root causes of inefficiency and deliver practical, sustainable solutions on the shop floor.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess Analysis & ImprovementAnalyze production and operational processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.Design and implement process improvements, validating impact against baseline performance.Support layout improvements and workflow optimization across production lines.Waste, Quality & Root CauseReduce waste, defects, and production losses through targeted improvement initiatives.Conduct Root Cause Analysis (5 Why, Fishbone) and drive corrective and preventive actions to closure.Monitor process quality and initiate improvement actions,Provide ongoing production support in resolving technical problems.Lean & Continuous ImprovementSupport Lean Manufacturing initiatives: 5S, Kaizen, PDCA, and Visual Management.Promote and embed a culture of continuous improvement across the operation.Lead or contribute to cross-functional improvement projects from scoping through implementation.Time & Motion Studies to identify process improvement opportunitiesStandards, Data & ReportingDevelop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for key processes.Perform time studies and identify opportunities to improve labor productivity.Monitor production KPIs and prepare regular improvement and performance reports.Machinery Development & Technical DocumentationParticipate in the development of the machinery park; liaise with machine manufacturers and coordinate Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).Design, implement, and continuously improve production processes.Prepare and maintain technological documentation (BOM, routings, 2D/3D drawings).Implement new products, new machines, and technological changes.Analyze manufacturing costs and identify cost-optimization opportunities.Key RelationshipsWorks cross-functionally with Production, Warehouse, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Installation, and Planning teams at Group level, coordinates with external machine manufacturers on equipment projects, and reports operational improvement progress to the Managing Director – Operations.EducationBachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related fieldExperience3–5 years in Process Engineering or Continuous Improvement; manufacturing background (furniture, woodworking, modular construction, or similar) is an advantageTechnical KnowledgeSolid grounding in Lean Manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen, PDCA, Visual Management); Root Cause Analysis methods (5 Why, Fishbone)Systems & ToolsProficient in Microsoft Excel; AutoCAD, ERP system experience is an advantageCore SkillsStrong analytical and structured problem-solving skills; effective communication and cross-functional teamworkWhat We OfferThe opportunity to shape process improvement in a growing manufacturing company.Professional development and career growth.A dynamic, collaborative working environment.Competitive salary and benefits.
