POSITION : Process EngineerDEPARTMENT : OperationsLOCATION: Dubai Investment Park (DIP), UAEJob PurposeThe Process Engineer drives measurable improvement across Faham Group's manufacturing operations — increasing productivity, reducing waste and defects, and standardizing processes. The role partners closely with Production, Warehouse, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Installation teams to identify root causes of inefficiency and deliver practical, sustainable solutions on the shop floor. The ideal candidate should come from a manufacturing environment where Lean principles, production optimization, and process standardization are integral to daily operations.Preferred industries (in order of priority):Furniture manufacturing (kitchens, wardrobes, closets, cabinetry, office furniture)Door and woodworking manufacturingJoinery and architectural wood productsModular construction and prefabricated building componentsDiscrete manufacturing (automotive components, metal fabrication, industrial equipment, consumer products)Professional Experience5–8 years of experience in Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Continuous Improvement within a manufacturing environment.Proven experience in identifying, implementing, and sustaining process improvements that deliver measurable gains in productivity, quality, cost, and operational efficiency.Hands-on experience working on the shop floor in close collaboration with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, Supply Chain, and Planning teams.Experience in new product introduction, production process design, machinery commissioning (FAT/SAT), and production line optimization is highly desirable.Technical ExpertiseThe successful candidate should demonstrate practical experience in:Lean Manufacturing (5S, Kaizen, PDCA, Visual Management)Root Cause Analysis (5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto, FMEA)Time & Motion Studies and labor productivity analysisProcess mapping, workflow optimization, and line balancingWaste reduction, defect reduction, and cycle time improvementStandard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process standardizationManufacturing KPIs, OEE, and continuous improvement project managementBOMs, routings, AutoCAD, ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft ExcelKey CompetenciesStrong analytical and structured problem-solving skillsHands-on, shop floor-oriented approach with a passion for continuous improvementAbility to influence cross-functional teams and drive change without direct authorityExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsResults-oriented with the ability to translate data into practical operational improvementsHigh level of ownership, discipline, and accountabilityEducationBachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related fieldExperience8+ years in Process Engineering or Continuous Improvement; manufacturing background (furniture, woodworking, modular construction, or similar) is an advantageTechnical KnowledgeSolid grounding in Lean Manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen, PDCA, Visual Management); Root Cause Analysis methods (5 Why, Fishbone)Systems & ToolsProficient in Microsoft Excel; AutoCAD, ERP system experience is an advantageCore SkillsStrong analytical and structured problem-solving skills; effective communication and cross-functional teamworkWhat We OfferThe opportunity to shape process improvement in a growing manufacturing company.Professional development and career growth.A dynamic, collaborative working environment.Competitive salary and benefits.
