Process Excellence Consultant

We are looking for a Process Excellence Consultant to standardise fragmented manual billing practices into a controlled, consistent and measurable end-to-end process that is automation-ready and scalable across businesses.Our client based in Dubai, is one of the largest semi-governmental conglomerates in the region. This position is a contract role with a duration of 3 months.

Key Responsibilities

Assess current manual billing variants, volumes, pain points, rework, controls, handoffs and turnaround times.Define the standard end-to-end process, roles, RACI, policies, templates, controls, service levels and exception pathways.Facilitate workshops to validate requirements and resolve process variations.Identify root causes and eliminate non-value-adding steps, duplicate checks and inconsistent practices.Define KPIs and governance for quality, timeliness, first-time-right performance, ageing and rework.Develop implementation, change, training and adoption materials.Conduct process discovery workshops to document current (“as-is”) processes.Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and control weaknesses across workflows.Develop future state (“to-be”) Level 4 process maps aligned to BPMN or EPC standards.Design and implement a standardized SOP template structure and documentation approach.Update SOP documentation to reflect redesigned processes.Ensure consistency in structure, terminology, and controls across Finance, Procurement, and Human Capital processes.Facilitate stakeholder walkthroughs and validation sessions for updated processes.Support change management activities and clarify ownership through defined RACI structures.Knowledge, Skills & Experience:Business Excellence, Lean, process-standardisation or finance-transformation experience.O2C billing processes, controls and upstream / downstream dependencies.Process mapping, RACI, SOPs, controls, KPIs and root-cause analysis.Workshop facilitation, stakeholder management and documentation.Advanced Microsoft Excel and process-analysis capability.Structured, evidence-led and focused on practical outcomes.Constructively challenges local variations and builds consensus.Strong facilitation, listening and influencing.Detail-oriented with an end-to-end process perspective.Collaborative and committed to sustainable adoption.
