This leadership role offers the opportunity to oversee complex project procurement, develop strategic vendor relationships, improve operational processes, and lead cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement & Strategic SourcingLead the full procurement lifecycle from product selection and vendor sourcing through purchasing, logistics coordination, and final delivery.Develop and implement strategic sourcing programs that balance quality, cost efficiency, and project requirements.Build and maintain strong supplier partnerships to ensure reliable delivery, competitive pricing, and exceptional service levels.Negotiate contracts, commercial agreements, pricing structures, and supplier performance expectations.Establish vendor management frameworks, supplier scorecards, and sourcing strategies to maximize value and operational effectiveness.Project Execution & Delivery ManagementOversee the successful execution of multiple concurrent projects, ensuring procurement activities align with budget, schedule, and quality objectives.Manage teams responsible for end-to-end procurement and logistics coordination.Monitor project financial performance, including budgets, cost control, purchasing expenditures, and profit margin targets.Ensure projects are delivered efficiently while mitigating risks related to sourcing, logistics, and vendor performance.Supply Chain & Logistics ManagementDirect logistics planning and delivery operations to ensure materials and products arrive according to project schedules.Coordinate with vendors, transportation providers, warehouses, and project teams to prevent delays and improve delivery performance.Monitor shipping activities and resolve logistical challenges proactively.Ensure compliance with transportation requirements, supplier agreements, and operational standards.Team Leadership & DevelopmentLead, mentor, and develop procurement, operations, and project support professionals.Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.Establish training initiatives to improve product knowledge, procurement capabilities, and supplier engagement practices.Support employee development through coaching, performance management, and career growth opportunities.Operational Excellence & Business SupportDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on procurement workflows, operational efficiency, and supply chain optimization.Develop policies, procedures, and best practices that improve scalability and project execution.Support critical business operations, compliance requirements, vendor documentation, and administrative functions.Implement reporting and analytics to measure procurement effectiveness, supplier performance, cost savings, and operational outcomes.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Procurement, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or operations management.At least 2 years of experience leading teams, managing direct reports, or overseeing a business function.Proven success managing supplier relationships and procurement activities across multiple concurrent projects.Experience managing pricing strategies, project budgets, cost control, and profitability targets.Strong understanding of sourcing, procurement, contract negotiation, and supplier management best practices.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and project management tools.Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience within commercial interiors, furniture, construction, facilities, manufacturing, or project-based industries.Knowledge of freight logistics, transportation management, and shipping concepts.Familiarity with sourcing optimization, supplier performance management, and strategic procurement methodologies.Experience developing vendor evaluation programs, supplier scorecards, and volume pricing strategies.Understanding of inventory management, order fulfillment, and supply chain planning.Experience managing projects in design-build, construction, commercial services, or related environments.What You'll BringStrong procurement leadership and supplier relationship management expertise.Strategic thinking combined with operational execution excellence.Exceptional negotiation and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.A passion for continuous improvement, team development, and delivering measurable business results.
