Employment Type: Full-TimeWorking Days: Monday–SaturdayAbout the RoleCraft & Glory is looking for a Procurement & Purchasing Executive to support day-to-day sourcing, purchasing, vendor coordination and raw-material availability across our manufacturing operations.This is a hands-on execution role working closely with Production, Inventory, Product Development, Finance, Warehouse and suppliers to ensure that the right materials are available on time, at the required quality and at competitive prices.The role will support procurement across our footwear, leather goods and apparel categories, including leather, fabrics, soles, hardware, components, packaging materials and production consumables.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities across product categories.Source and procure leather, fabrics, soles, hardware, components, packaging and other production requirements.Coordinate with Production and Inventory teams to understand material requirements and prepare purchasing plans.Monitor stock levels, reorder requirements, lead times and material availability to avoid shortages and production delays.Identify and coordinate with existing and potential vendors for sourcing requirements.Assist in vendor evaluation, onboarding and development.Coordinate with suppliers on pricing, MOQs, lead times, payment terms and delivery schedules.Prepare, issue and track Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely deliveries.Follow up regularly with vendors on pending orders, dispatches and delayed materials.Maintain proper records of purchase orders, quotations, invoices, vendor details and pricing.Monitor vendor performance in terms of quality, pricing, delivery timelines and responsiveness.Coordinate with Quality and Production teams to resolve material-quality issues and supplier concerns.Work with Warehouse and Inventory teams to maintain visibility of stock and upcoming material requirements.Coordinate with Finance regarding purchase documentation and vendor payment requirements.Track material consumption and support efforts to reduce wastage, excess inventory and unnecessary purchases.Assist in identifying opportunities for cost savings and better supplier terms.Support Product Development teams in sourcing new materials, components and suppliers.Maintain updated vendor databases, price records and procurement reports.Support the development and implementation of structured procurement processes and SOPs.What We’re Looking For1.5–4 years of relevant experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing or supply-chain operations.Candidates with experience in footwear, leather goods, apparel, D2C, consumer products or manufacturing will be preferred.Hands-on experience in raw-material procurement and production purchasing.Good understanding of inventory requirements, reorder levels, lead times, MOQs and material consumption.Basic vendor sourcing, coordination and negotiation skills.Strong follow-up skills with the ability to track multiple purchase orders and deliveries simultaneously.Comfortable coordinating with factories, manufacturers, traders and material suppliers.Good understanding of pricing, quotations and supplier commercial terms.Strong working knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets.Experience with ERP, MRP or inventory-management systems will be an added advantage.Good communication, coordination and organizational skills.The Ideal CandidateYou are organized, proactive and strong at follow-ups.You are comfortable working with multiple suppliers and internal teams, keeping track of what has been ordered, what is pending, what is arriving and what requires immediate attention.You understand that effective procurement is about balancing cost, quality, availability, lead time and reliability.You should be someone who takes ownership of assigned procurement requirements, follows through until closure and continuously looks for better suppliers, better pricing and more reliable sourcing options.Candidates with 1.5–4 years of relevant experience only are preferred for this role.About Craft & GloryCraft & Glory is an Indian heritage-inspired leather goods, footwear and apparel brand focused on building products rooted in craftsmanship, durability and timeless design.As our manufacturing operations and product categories continue to grow, we are looking for a procurement professional who can help us build a reliable, cost-efficient and scalable supply chain.
