PROCUREMENT & PURCHASING MANAGERCraft & Glory | Foxglove Lifestyles Private LimitedLocation: Gurugram, HaryanaEmployment Type: Full-TimeExperience : 5+ yearsWorking Days: Monday–SaturdayAbout the RoleCraft & Glory is looking for an experienced Procurement & Purchasing Manager to take ownership of sourcing, purchasing, vendor management and raw-material availability across our manufacturing operations.This is a hands-on role working closely with production, inventory, product development, finance and leadership to ensure that the right materials are available at the right time, at the right quality and at commercially competitive prices.The role will manage procurement across our footwear, leather goods and apparel categories, covering everything from leather, fabrics and soles to hardware, packaging, components and production consumables.Key Responsibilities* Own day-to-day purchasing and procurement across all product categories.* Source and procure leather, fabrics, soles, hardware, components, packaging materials, consumables and other production requirements.* Convert production plans and inventory requirements into timely purchasing plans.* Maintain appropriate reorder levels, safety stocks and procurement schedules to prevent material shortages and production delays.* Identify, evaluate, negotiate with and onboard new vendors and suppliers.* Develop alternate suppliers to reduce dependency on individual vendors and strengthen supply-chain resilience.* Negotiate pricing, MOQs, lead times, payment terms and other commercial terms with suppliers.* Issue and track purchase orders from placement through delivery.* Follow up proactively with vendors to ensure materials arrive according to committed timelines.* Monitor vendor performance across quality, price, lead time, reliability and responsiveness.* Work closely with Quality and Production teams to resolve material-quality issues and supplier non-conformities.* Coordinate with Inventory and Warehouse teams to maintain visibility of stock levels and upcoming requirements.* Work with Finance to plan upcoming purchasing requirements and vendor payments sufficiently in advance.* Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor databases, price histories and purchase documentation.* Track material consumption and identify opportunities to reduce wastage, excess inventory and unnecessary purchasing.* Continuously identify opportunities for cost reduction and better commercial terms without compromising product quality.* Support new product development by sourcing and developing new materials, components and manufacturing partners.* Build structured procurement processes, SOPs and reporting systems as the business scales.What We’re Looking For* Strong experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing or supply-chain management, preferably within footwear, leather goods, apparel, accessories or manufacturing.* Strong vendor sourcing and negotiation capabilities.* Experience managing raw-material procurement and production-related purchasing.* Good understanding of inventory planning, reorder levels, lead times, MOQs and material consumption.* Strong commercial awareness and the ability to evaluate pricing and supplier terms critically.* Excellent follow-up and organizational skills — this role requires someone who stays ahead of requirements rather than reacting to shortages.* Comfortable working directly with factories, manufacturers, traders and material suppliers.* Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills; experience with ERP, MRP or inventory-management systems is desirable.* Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.The Ideal CandidateYou are a strong negotiator, relentless follow-up person and natural problem solver.You understand that good procurement is not simply about getting the lowest price.
