Location: Abu DhabiRole OverviewOur client, an EPC contractor working on an ADNOC onshore project, is urgently seeking an experienced Procurement and Subcontracting Manager to join the project team.The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing procurement and subcontracting activities in support of project execution, with a strong focus on the requirements and standards of ADNOC onshore projects.Key ResponsibilitiesManage procurement and subcontracting activities across the project.Oversee sourcing, tendering, evaluation, negotiation, and award processes for materials, equipment, services, and subcontract packages.Coordinate with engineering, project management, construction, commercial, and other relevant teams to support project requirements.Manage subcontractor and supplier engagement throughout the procurement and subcontracting lifecycle.Ensure procurement and subcontracting activities are aligned with project schedules, contractual requirements, and applicable ADNOC procedures.Support commercial negotiations and contract/subcontract administration as required.Monitor supplier and subcontractor performance and address procurement-related risks or delays.Maintain appropriate procurement and subcontracting documentation and reporting.Requirements15+ years of professional experience, preferably with significant experience in Oil & Gas and EPC projects.Strong background in procurement, subcontracting, supply chain, engineering, and/or project-related commercial activities.Previous ADNOC onshore project experience is mandatory.Candidates who are already ADNOC approved will have an advantage.Arabic speaker is mandatory.Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.Experience managing procurement and subcontracting activities within large-scale EPC environments.Preferred QualificationsCIPS – Chartered Institute of Procurement & SupplyCPSM – Certified Professional in Supply ManagementProfessional certifications such as CIPS or CPSM are highly advantageous.Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will have approximately 15–20 years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain, engineering, project management, or related disciplines, with substantial exposure to Oil & Gas EPC projects and ADNOC onshore operations.
