Location: SurreySalary: £55k - £65,000 + Bonus + Package (9 day fortnight working pattern offered)The Role:We’re supporting a major global engineering, defence and technology organisation with the appointment of a Procurement & Supplier Manager into a high-profile UK team.This is a broad commercial role combining strategic procurement, contract management and supplier relationship management across a complex supply chain.

You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and strategic suppliers to improve performance, manage risk and unlock long-term value.You’ll be joining a large Procurement & Supply Chain function with significant influence across the business and exposure to complex, mission-critical programmes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead sourcing activity and negotiate mid-to-high value contracts, balancing commercial value, operational requirements and risk.Take ownership of contract management, including KPI development, supplier performance, contractual issues and dispute resolution.Build strong supplier relationships and SRM frameworks to drive service improvement, innovation, resilience and long-term value.Work closely with senior stakeholders to understand future requirements, influence business planning and ensure early procurement engagement.Identify and manage supply chain risks across resilience, financial stability, sustainability and wider geopolitical considerations.What We’re Looking For:5+ years’ experience across strategic procurement, contracts, supply chain or commercial management.Strong contract management and supplier relationship management experience, ideally across complex or high-value supplier environments.Demonstrable experience negotiating significant commercial agreements and managing supplier performance post-award.Confident stakeholder manager with the ability to influence, challenge and build trusted relationships across the business.MCIPS qualified or working towards completion, with practical exposure to Source-to-Pay technology desirable.Why Apply?Salary up to £65,000 + 10% bonus9 Day FortnightOpportunity to work within a major UK business with strong progression opportunitiesExposure to complex, mission-critical programmes and strategic supplier relationshipsGenuine opportunity to broaden your experience across procurement, contracts, SRM and commercial transformationThis would suit someone who enjoys going beyond the sourcing process and taking real ownership of contract performance, supplier outcomes and long-term commercial relationships.
