Procurement and Supply Chain, Director

We're partnering with a leading client to find a Procurement & Supply Chain Director to join their team. You'll own the purchasing and supply engine behind a national network of hundreds of locations across the US, and your decisions will directly shape product cost and availability for every one of them. This is a seat where you negotiate the contracts, set the strategy, and present the plan to senior leadership yourself. If you want your supply chain expertise to show up clearly on the bottom line, keep reading.What You'll OwnYou'll lead purchasing, inventory, and distribution for direct materials, packaging, and promotional items, with the goal of uninterrupted supply at the best total cost.You'll negotiate and manage supplier and distribution contracts from start to finish. That covers enforcing current terms and building new agreements with legal counsel.You'll plan inventory build-up for product launches and promotions. You'll also set the playbook for recalls, product holds, and obsolete stock.You'll work with finance on supplier rebate programs and revenue strategy, then present and defend the annual plan and budget with senior leadership.You'll act as the main supply chain voice for independent operators, brand leadership, and partner teams in marketing, operations, product development, and quality.You'll coach and grow a purchasing team, and you'll lead adoption of new procurement and invoice auditing tools.What You BringMust-haves6+ years in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, including time leading a team, so you're ready to step into full director scope.Hands-on experience negotiating supplier and distribution contracts and holding suppliers to quality, cost, and service standards.Fluency in Spanish and English.
