Role MissionAs the Procurement and Warehouse Coordinator you will coordinate the procurement of products for timely delivery for customer orders, stocked inventory orders and supply orders for the repair (shop) locations. You will also play an integral part of managing inventory through cycle counting, vendor returns and inventory review projects.Key Job ResponsibilitiesPurchase goods and/or services daily for business locations for timely delivery of product.Resolve receiving, shipping, inventory, and invoicing issues as they arise.Process Vendor returns.Participate in Vendor Relationship Strengthening Strategies.Be a liaison between Sales and Suppliers as it relates to order placement and management of order (dates, pricing, reallocations, Canadian shipments, etc.).Establish and monitor a cycle count inventory program.Monthly fleet reporting data (forklift and truck).Participate in special projects when needed.Perform warehouse duties (route management, item fulfillments, item receipts etc.) when needed for staff shortages, vacation, etc.Monthly reporting generation as needed for inventory and vendor requirements.Understand Vendor rebate options for strategic purchasing opportunities.Manage vendor exchange programs as needed.Assist in stocking level discussions quarterly for all locations.Identify cost savings opportunities year-to-year.Manage item cost structure for purchased goods.Review, establish and monitor contracts for facility goods and services.Set up and qualify new vendors, including documentation and terms.Coordinate inventory transfers between Kurz locations as needed.Manage disposition of obsolete and excess inventory.Maintain bin and location accuracy within NetSuite.Support annual physical inventory counts.Manage import/export and customs documentation for cross-border shipments.Track forklift certifications and monitor warehouse safety compliance.CompetenciesAssociates degree in supply chain management or business administration (or equivalent experience).2-4 years’ experience in procurement and/or inventory management.Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.ERP systems experience preferred.Experience and proficiency with various web-based software applications including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, etc.Keys to SuccessCore Values: This person lives out our 6 Kurz company core values well.
