Role Description The Director at GCC Contracting Company (branch of Ginco Sharjah) will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for construction projects and business units in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This full-time, on-site role includes setting organizational objectives, managing budgets, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to quality and safety standards. The Director will oversee project planning, resource allocation, contract execution, and stakeholder communication, including clients, partners, and regulatory bodies. The role also involves leading senior teams, driving business development initiatives, improving operational processes, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies. The Director will represent the company in high-level meetings, contribute to long-term growth strategies, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.QualificationsStrong leadership, people management, and team-building abilities, with experience guiding multidisciplinary project and operations teams.Proven track record in construction project management, including budgeting, scheduling, resource planning, and contract administration.Experience in business development, client relationship management, and strategic planning within the construction or engineering sector.Sound knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards in the United Arab Emirates.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to collaborate with clients, consultants, and authorities.Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant professional certifications are an advantage.Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in senior roles within contracting or construction companies, preferably with GCC or UAE experience.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on risk management, cost control, and operational efficiency.High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to safety, quality, and sustainable business practices.
