Procurement Associate

Qantara Trading is looking for a motivated Procurement Associate to support our international sourcing and procurement activities.The role involves researching global suppliers, supporting RFQs, comparing quotations, assessing pricing and lead times, and helping identify the strongest supply options for live client requirements.You will work across a range of industrial products, materials and specialist sourcing requirements while using both traditional procurement methods and AI-assisted research tools.Key responsibilities include:Researching manufacturers, distributors and suppliers across international marketsSupporting supplier enquiries, RFQs and follow-upsComparing quotations based on price, lead time, commercial terms and credibilityIdentifying competitive sourcing options across different regionsMaintaining accurate supplier and procurement recordsSupporting supplier qualification and commercial negotiationsAssisting with export, documentation and logistics research where requiredUsing AI-assisted tools to improve supplier discovery and market researchWe are looking for someone who is commercially minded, organised, analytical and comfortable communicating professionally with suppliers.Previous procurement experience is not essential. An interest in international trade, supply chains, sourcing or commercial research is highly desirable.
