Procurement Category Assistant Manager

We are hiring an Assistant Category Manager – Procurement for our client in the construction industry.The role will support strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract coordination, spend analysis, and cost optimization. The successful candidate will work closely with project, design, commercial, and procurement teams to ensure timely and effective purchasing.Key ResponsibilitiesManage sourcing, supplier evaluations, quotations, negotiations, and contract coordination.Develop long-term purchase agreements and support category strategies.Monitor supplier performance, procurement timelines, spend, savings, and ICV compliance.Coordinate technical evaluations and supplier submittals with project and design teams.Maintain accurate procurement, contract, and supplier records.Mandatory RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement, contracts, or category management.Strong experience in the construction industry.Knowledge of supplier management, contract management, negotiation, ERP systems, spend analysis, and Power BI.
