Its engineering team combines extensive experience and diverse technical backgrounds to deliver efficient, high-quality results in lake dredging, contaminated material cleanup, and land reclamation for ecological restoration and sustainable land use.Role Description The Owner role at Dredge Masters Ghana Limited is a full-time, on-site position based in Accra. The Owner is responsible for setting the overall strategic direction of the company, overseeing business operations, and ensuring the successful delivery of dredging and land reclamation projects across Ghana and the wider region. Day-to-day tasks include providing leadership to senior management, approving major project plans and budgets, monitoring financial performance, and guiding business development and client relationship activities. The Owner collaborates with technical and engineering teams to align operational decisions with safety, environmental standards, and long-term growth objectives, while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.Qualifications Strong leadership, people management, and organizational skills, with the ability to guide multidisciplinary teams and influence strategic decisions.Business management, financial planning, and budgeting skills, including experience with P&L oversight and investment decision-making.Background in civil, hydrological, marine, or environmental engineering, or equivalent technical expertise relevant to dredging and land reclamation.Project management skills, including planning, risk management, and delivery of complex infrastructure or environmental projects.Knowledge of environmental regulations, health and safety standards, and compliance frameworks related to dredging and construction activities.Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills for working with clients, regulators, partners, and community representatives.Experience in the African infrastructure, maritime, or environmental services sector is highly beneficial.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or executive training is an advantage.
