Procurement Contract Manager

About the RoleYou will:Develop, evaluate and improve procurement policies and governance frameworks.Implement procurement standards across the organisation.Translate procurement strategy into tactical objectives for the Contract Management team.Lead and coach the Contract Management team.Drive employee development and ownership.Influence senior management and executive stakeholders.Manage budgets, procurement risks and compliance.Ensure contracts comply with applicable legislation and regulatory requirements.Promote sustainable procurement practices throughout the organisation.ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate is:A decisive leaderResults-orientedStrong coach and people managerExcellent stakeholder managerAble to influence senior executivesStrategic thinker with a hands-on approachQualificationsCandidates should have:University (WO) level education.Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in Procurement or Contract Management.Extensive experience within the financial services industry or another highly regulated sector.Strong knowledge of financial regulations including:-DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act)-EBA (European Banking Authority) guidelinesDemonstrated experience developing and implementing:-Procurement policies-Risk management frameworksStrong understanding of sustainability and its application within procurement and contract management.Excellent stakeholder management skills at management and executive level.
