Procurement Coordinator – Job OpeningPosition: Procurement CoordinatorLocation: Dubai, UAEIndustry: Maritime / Ship ManagementEmployment Type: Full-timeWe are looking for a Procurement Coordinator to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating procurement activities, sourcing materials and services, obtaining competitive quotations, and ensuring timely delivery to support our vessel and office operations.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate the end-to-end procurement process, from receiving purchase requests to delivery.Source suppliers and obtain competitive quotations for required goods and services.Compare quotations, negotiate prices and commercial terms, and prepare recommendations.Prepare and process RFQs, POs, and related procurement documents.Coordinate with vessel, technical, operations, finance, and administration teams regarding procurement requirements.Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any delays or discrepancies.Maintain updated supplier records and procurement documentation.Monitor purchase orders, deliveries, invoices, and payment status.Ensure purchases are made in accordance with company procedures and approved budgets.Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers and service providers.Support cost-saving initiatives and identify reliable and competitive suppliers.Maintain proper records for audit and compliance purposes.RequirementsBachelor’s degree or diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.2–4 years of experience in procurement or purchasing.Experience in the maritime, ship management, marine, or offshore industry will be an advantage.Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.Strong negotiation, coordination, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple purchase requests and priorities efficiently.Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.Good command of English, both written and spoken.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.What We OfferCompetitive salary package.Professional and supportive working environment.Opportunity to develop your career within the maritime industry.Interested candidates are invited to share their CV with us.Apply Now – Procurement Coordinator | Dubai, UAE
