Procurement Coordinator – Dubai, UAEIndustry: Construction Location: Dubai, UAESalary: AED 5,000 per monthAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and proactive Procurement/Purchase Coordinator to join our construction trading team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong procurement experience, excellent Excel and negotiation skills, good knowledge of UAE suppliers and market pricing, and the ability to coordinate effectively with suppliers, site, warehouse, logistics, and accounts teams.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate day-to-day purchasing activities for construction and trading materials.Prepare and process Purchase Requests (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs).Obtain supplier quotations and prepare comparative statements.Negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.Follow up closely with suppliers on quotations, order confirmations, pricing, and deliveries.Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of required materials.Coordinate with site, warehouse, logistics, and accounts teams regarding material requirements.Maintain accurate purchase records, supplier documents, quotations, POs, and related documentation.Maintain and update the supplier/vendor database.Assist with vendor evaluation and supplier performance monitoring.Monitor UAE market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.Update procurement transactions in the ERP system (FirstBit ERP preferred).Prepare purchase, delivery, supplier, and cost reports using Microsoft Excel.Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.Manage multiple purchasing requirements and ensure timely follow-up and completion.Requirements & QualificationsBachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field.1–3 years of purchasing/procurement experience, preferably in construction, building materials, or trading.Good knowledge of UAE suppliers, construction materials, local market pricing, and procurement processes.Excellent Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to prepare tracking sheets, comparative statements, reports, and basic data analysis.Strong negotiation, supplier management, and follow-up skills.Experience with ERP systems; FirstBit ERP experience is an advantage.Excellent communication and coordination skills.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.Strong problem-solving and supplier relationship-management abilities.Immediate or short-notice availability is preferred.Preferred Candidate ProfileCandidates with UAE-based procurement experience and an established knowledge of local suppliers will have an advantage.Experience in construction materials procurement is highly preferred.SkillsExcellent Excel and procurement reporting skills.Strong supplier negotiation and relationship-management abilities.Good understanding of UAE market rates and supplier networks.Ability to source alternative suppliers and secure competitive pricing.Strong follow-up skills to ensure timely material delivery.Experience with FirstBit ERP or similar ERP systems.
