Procurement Director

Role DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Procurement Director to lead procurement strategy, sourcing, supplier management, and purchasing operations while driving cost savings and supply efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop procurement strategies, policies, and procedures.Lead sourcing, purchasing, tendering, and supplier selection.Manage supplier relationships, contracts, and performance.Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and commercial agreements.Monitor procurement costs, KPIs, savings, and performance.Identify cost reduction and value optimization opportunities.Oversee purchase orders, quotations, bids, and tenders.Coordinate procurement with finance, operations, and project teams.Monitor suppliers, market prices, materials, and industry trends.Identify supply risks and alternative sourcing opportunities.Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.Manage procurement budgets, spending, and forecasts.Improve procurement processes, systems, and operational efficiency.Prepare procurement reports and management recommendations.Lead and develop the procurement team.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field.Extensive experience in procurement and strategic sourcing.Strong experience in supplier, contract, and tender management.Excellent negotiation and commercial management skills.Strong analytical, cost-control, and decision-making abilities.Knowledge of procurement policies, processes, and compliance.Experience with SAP, Oracle, ERP, or e-procurement systems.Strong supplier relationship and risk management skills.Excellent leadership and stakeholder management abilities.Ability to manage budgets, priorities, and deadlines.CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent certification is an advantage.UAE/GCC procurement experience is preferred.Professional, ethical, organized, proactive, and results-oriented.
