Procurement Director | Plymouth | Confidential AppointmentOur client is a leading UK building safety and compliance business, backed by private equity and entering an exciting phase of acquisitive growth.We are retained to appoint a Procurement Director to build and lead a new Group-wide procurement, supply chain and pricing function.This is a genuine build-and-shape opportunity. Procurement, supplier relationships and pricing currently sit across multiple businesses, and the successful candidate will bring these together into a scalable Group capability.The opportunityYou will:Build and lead the Group procurement and supply chain functionCentralise and leverage Group spend to deliver measurable savingsOwn pricing across both supplier costs and customer-facing pricingEstablish and negotiate Group-wide framework agreementsRationalise and strengthen the strategic supplier baseLead procurement and supply chain integration across acquisitionsOwn procurement synergies and provide clear reporting to the BoardBuild the systems, governance and commercial discipline required to support continued growthWhat we're looking forAn experienced Procurement, Supply Chain or Commercial Director / Head of with a track record of operating in a £100m+ or rapidly scaling organisation.You will ideally have experience of:Centralising procurement within a devolved or multi-site businessBuy-side and sell-side pricingStrategic supplier and framework negotiationM&A integration and synergy deliveryConstruction, building services, M&E, fire/building compliance, facilities management or a comparable sectorYou'll need to be commercially sharp, comfortable operating at Board level and equally capable of rolling up your sleeves to build the function and deliver results.
