Apply & track with Apply EdgeJob Description – Procurement EngineerClient: NSH Saudi ArabiaIndustry: Oil & Gas / EPC ProjectsJob Title: Procurement EngineerLocation: Saudi ArabiaSalary: SAR 5,000 – 7,000/month (Based on experience and interview performance)Job SummaryNSH Saudi is seeking an experienced Procurement Engineer to support its Oil & Gas EPC projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely procurement of engineering materials, equipment, and services while ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and project schedules. Candidates with GCC/Oil & Gas project experience will be preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute procurement activities for mechanical, piping, structural, electrical, instrumentation, and civil materials required for EPC projects.Review Material Requisitions (MRs), Technical Bid Evaluations (TBEs), BOQs, and project specifications.Identify and evaluate qualified suppliers and subcontractors.Obtain quotations, prepare commercial bid evaluations, and negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms.Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and monitor the procurement cycle until final delivery.Coordinate with Engineering, QA/QC, Planning, Construction, and Logistics teams to ensure timely material availability.Track supplier performance and expedite deliveries to meet project milestones.Ensure all procured materials comply with project specifications, client requirements, and applicable international standards.Resolve procurement-related issues, vendor claims, and material shortages.Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and procurement reports.Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and contractual obligations.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or electrical or civil a Engineering discipline.5–10 years of procurement experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, Petrochemical, or Industrial Construction projects.Minimum 3–5 years of GCC/Middle East experience is preferred.Experience in procuring engineering materials, equipment, valves, piping, structural steel, electrical, and instrumentation items.Strong knowledge of procurement procedures, vendor management, commercial negotiations, and supply chain operations.Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar procurement software is an advantage.Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.Preferred ExperienceExperience working on major Oil & Gas EPC projects.Familiarity with Saudi Aramco, SABIC, ADNOC, or similar client standards is an added advantage.Strong understanding of international procurement standards and project documentation.Employment BenefitsCompetitive Salary: SAR 5,000 – 7,000 per month
