Apply & track with Apply EdgeJob Description: Procurement EngineerWe’re Hiring!We are seeking an experienced Procurement Engineer to join our team for Saudi Aramco–approved and others Potential clients’ projects, ensuring high-quality construction, safety, and compliance with engineering standards.Role PurposeResponsible for procurement activities from requisition and RFQ through technical/commercial evaluation, purchase-order placement, expediting, delivery, and procurement close-out.Key Responsibilities• Review material requisitions and technical procurement requirements.• Identify and source qualified suppliers.• Issue RFQs and manage vendor inquiries.• Coordinate technical and commercial bid evaluations.• Conduct commercial clarification and negotiation.• Prepare purchase recommendations and purchase orders.• Monitor vendor document submissions.• Expedite manufacturing and delivery.• Coordinate logistics and material delivery with project teams.• Maintain procurement status reports.• Support vendor-performance evaluation.• Ensure procurement activities comply with project budget and schedule.Qualifications & Experience• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related discipline.• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience preferred.• EPC/industrial procurement background preferred.• Saudi vendor-market experience strongly preferred.Technical Competencies• RFQ/RFP processes.• Technical and commercial bid evaluation.• Purchase orders.• Vendor sourcing.• Commercial negotiation.• Expediting and logistics.• Procurement tracking/reporting.• ERP and MS Office proficiency.GENERAL RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTSCandidates should demonstrate:• Relevant academic/technical qualifications for the position.• Relevant industrial, construction, infrastructure, Oil & Gas, or EPC experience.• Good written and verbal communication skills.• Ability to work within multidisciplinary project teams.• Strong commitment to safety, quality, cost, and schedule.• Professional accountability and ability to work in a developing project organization.• Previous Saudi Arabia experience is preferred.• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco, SABIC, SEC, or other major Saudi industrial clients is an advantage where relevant to the position.• English communication capability appropriate to the position.HEMAMCO reserves the right to assess candidates against project-specific client requirements, professional certifications, technical competencies, and relevant experience before final selection.
