Applicants join a trusted industry leader known for a straightforward approach and long-term client relationships.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Procurement Engineer role based in Riyadh. The Procurement Engineer will manage the end-to-end procurement cycle, including sourcing materials and services, preparing and issuing requests for quotation (RFQs), and evaluating supplier proposals for technical and commercial compliance. The role involves coordinating with engineering, project, and finance teams to ensure timely delivery of materials within budget and in line with project specifications. Daily activities include issuing and tracking purchase orders, maintaining procurement documentation, monitoring supplier performance, and resolving delivery or quality issues. The Procurement Engineer will also contribute to cost optimization initiatives, support vendor development, and ensure adherence to company policies and relevant standards.Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in supplier evaluation and vendor assessment to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.Candidates should possess skills in managing purchase orders, order tracking, and procurement documentation.Candidates should possess strong analytical skills for cost comparison, bid analysis, and data-driven decision-making.Candidates should possess effective communication skills for coordinating with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, and for negotiating terms.Candidates should possess experience preparing and managing requests for quotation (RFQs), including technical and commercial review.Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, or a related field.Experience in procurement within engineering, construction, or technology projects is preferred.Proficiency with ERP or procurement systems and MS Office tools.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work within project timelines.Knowledge of regional market conditions and relevant standards or regulations is an advantage.
