The company focuses on providing reliable products, responsive service, and timely deliveries, while building long-term relationships with customers and suppliers based on quality and commitment.Role DescriptionThe Procurement Engineer is a full-time, on-site position based in Ajman, United Arab Emirates. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement cycle for electrical materials, including identifying requirements, sourcing suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery.Day-to-day tasks include preparing and issuing requests for quotation (RFQs), evaluating supplier offers, negotiating terms, and processing purchase orders in line with company procedures. The role also includes preparing customer quotations, ensuring accurate item descriptions, quantities, pricing, and commercial terms in coordination with the sales and operations teams.The Procurement Engineer will collaborate closely with operations, sales, and finance teams to control costs and support project timelines. A key responsibility is maintaining minimum stock levels across the product range by monitoring inventory, reviewing demand and supplier lead times, and arranging timely replenishment to prevent shortages.The role also involves monitoring supplier performance, maintaining accurate procurement and quotation records, and continuously improving procurement processes and vendor relationships.QualificationsStrong supplier evaluation skills, with the ability to compare technical and commercial offers effectively.Experience in preparing RFQs, processing purchase orders, and tracking deliveries.Ability to prepare accurate customer quotations, including pricing, item specifications, and commercial terms.Experience in inventory monitoring, maintaining minimum stock levels, and planning replenishment.Solid analytical skills for cost analysis, demand forecasting, and procurement decision-making.Clear communication and negotiation skills for coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.Relevant experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in electrical materials, building materials, or construction.A bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, business, or a related field is preferred.Familiarity with procurement software or ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and local and international sourcing practices.Ability to work on-site in Ajman, United Arab Emirates, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accuracy under time constraints.
