Procurement Engineer / Procurement OfficerWe are looking for a Procurement Engineer / Procurement Officer to join our team and manage the procurement process for construction, interior design, and landscaping projects.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the complete procurement cycle from material requisition to delivery.Source and evaluate suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors.Obtain and compare quotations to ensure competitive pricing and suitable quality.Prepare RFQs, purchase orders, comparison sheets, and procurement reports.Coordinate with project managers, engineers, designers, and site teams to understand material and project requirements.Ensure materials are procured according to approved specifications, drawings, quantities, quality standards, and project schedules.Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions with suppliers.Follow up on orders and ensure timely delivery to project sites.Coordinate with suppliers and site teams regarding delivery, inspections, and material approvals.Maintain proper records of suppliers, quotations, purchase orders, deliveries, and procurement documentation.Identify alternative materials and suppliers where required while maintaining quality and project requirements.Monitor market prices and develop a reliable supplier network.Resolve procurement and delivery issues efficiently to avoid project delays.Ensure procurement activities are aligned with company policies and project budgets. RequirementsBachelor’s degree/diploma in Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field.Previous experience in construction, interior fit-out, landscaping, or related industries is preferred.Strong knowledge of construction and finishing materials, suppliers, and market pricing.Good negotiation, communication, coordination, and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and procurement requirements simultaneously.Proficiency in MS Office / Excel and procurement or ERP systems.Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.UAE/GCC procurement experience is an advantage.
