We're Hiring: Procurement Engineer / Sr. Procurement Engineer - Building Construction Projects (United Arab Emirates)We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced in building construction Procurement Engineer / Sr. Procurement Engineer with a background in civil construction to join our company in the UAE. Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.Minimum 7-10 years relevant procurement experience of which at least 3 years as Procurement Engineer in Procurement Department of a contracting company, preferably in the UAE. Ability to evaluate subcontractor's quotations, negotiate prices and recommend the best offer matching the requirement, specifications etc.Experience in preparing comparison sheets, letters of intent, subcontract agreements, etc.Strong in follow up subcontractors' variations and analyse the cost effects for alternative proposals.Good command of the English languageKey Responsibilities:Plan, execute and finalize Supplier/ Sub Contractor procurement for the company projects.Direct and manage procurement process life cycle from the inception to end.Review the performance of the approved sub-contractor/supplier and recommend decisions on their status.Check the draft of LOI and ensure compliance with contract document or identify alternatives/options.Study the contract documents (specifications, drawings and bill of quantities) to ensure that the correct quantities of items have been identified for procurement.Make sure that LOI are duly approved by Subcontractor / Supplier.Study the contract documents (specifications, drawings and bill of quantities) to ensure that the correct quantities of items have been identified for procurement.Location: Abu DhabiIf you would like to share your updated CV, please send it to hr@dhafirdc.com
