Procurement Executive

Role OverviewWe are seeking a proactive Procurement Executive to manage local purchasing activities and oversee import operations end-to-end. The role requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of UAE import regulations to ensure the timely and compliant supply of goods.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day local procurement, including sourcing, issuing purchase orders, and supplier follow-upNegotiate with local suppliers to achieve competitive pricing, quality, and delivery termsReview and validate all import documentation (Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Health Certificate, Certificate of Origin) prior to shipment arrivalHandle product registration and approvals through Dubai Municipality systems (FIRS, Montaji/ZDLM)Coordinate with freight forwarders on shipment planning, documentation, and delivery schedulesOversee customs clearance through Dubai Customs (Mirsal 2) and ensure timely release of shipmentsLiaise with regulatory authorities (Dubai Municipality, MOCCAE) for permits, inspections, and compliance requirementsTrack shipments end-to-end and proactively resolve operational or documentation issuesMaintain accurate records of purchases, imports, and supplier performanceRequirements3–5 years of experience in procurement and import operationsStrong knowledge of UAE import procedures and systems (FIRS, Montaji/ZDLM, Mirsal 2)Experience in food/meat import is a strong advantageProven negotiation and supplier management skillsHigh attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesStrong communication and coordination skillsProficiency in English (Arabic is a plus)
