قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجJob Purpose: The Procurement Expeditor will support the timely and efficient delivery of procured goods and services by monitoring purchase orders, tracking supplier commitments, coordinating delivery activities, and escalating potential delays or issues. The role ensures accurate procurement status visibility and supports continuity of supply in line with approved requirements.Job Responsibilities:• Monitor purchase orders and supplier commitments from order placement through delivery and confirm that agreed dates, quantities, specifications, and documentation remain aligned with requirements.• Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to obtain regular delivery updates, identify schedule risks, and maintain accurate visibility of order status and expected delivery dates.• Expedite overdue or at-risk purchase orders by following up with suppliers, identifying root causes of delay, and coordinating corrective actions to support timely resolution.• Review procurement documentation and supplier confirmations for completeness and consistency and highlight discrepancies, missing information, or potential delivery constraints for appropriate action.• Maintain accurate records of purchase order status, supplier commitments, delivery milestones, and outstanding actions within the approved procurement or enterprise systems.• Escalate significant delivery delays, supply risks, quality concerns, or commercial issues through the appropriate channels and support timely resolution based on established procedures.• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders on shipment, inspection, receipt, and delivery requirements to ensure that procurement activities progress smoothly against agreed schedules.• Support supplier performance monitoring by maintaining reliable expediting information, identifying recurring issues, and contributing data for performance reviews and improvement actions.• Prepare regular procurement expediting reports and status updates highlighting order progress, overdue items, risks, bottlenecks, and actions required from stakeholders.• Ensure expediting activities are performed in accordance with approved procurement policies, procedures, delegated authorities, contractual requirements, and applicable compliance standards.• Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement expediting processes by identifying opportunities to improve tracking, communication, reporting, and supplier delivery performance.Qualifications and Experience:• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or another relevant discipline from a recognized institution.• Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management, such as CIPS, CPSM, or an equivalent recognized certification, is preferred.• 2 -4 years of relevant professional experience in procurement, supply chain, expediting, logistics, or a related environment.• Relevant experience in purchase order expediting, supplier follow-up, delivery monitoring, and resolution of procurement-related delays.• Experience working with suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders in an operational, industrial, engineering, or project-based environment is preferred.• Experience using ERP or procurement systems to track purchase orders, maintain records, and prepare procurement status reports.
