We're Hiring | Procurement Manager – Tobacco Materials | Delhi (Connaught Place)Experience - 8-12 YearsWe're looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing for a leading cigarette manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional with deep expertise in tobacco sourcing, Tobacco Board liaison, and vendor management.Key Responsibilities🔹 Act as the primary liaison with the Tobacco Board and represent the organization at tobacco auctions.🔹 Evaluate tobacco leaf quality, secure the best grades at competitive prices, and monitor auction trends, crop patterns, and market dynamics.🔹 Build and maintain strong relationships with growers, traders, and suppliers to ensure uninterrupted supply.🔹 Lead procurement of all Non-Tobacco Materials (NTM), including filters, cigarette paper, packaging materials, adhesives, and other production inputs.🔹 Identify, onboard, and manage vendors while negotiating commercial terms that optimize cost without compromising quality.🔹 Collaborate with the manufacturing plant to maintain optimal inventory levels and prevent stock shortages or excess inventory.🔹 Track procurement costs, prepare variance reports, and support Finance with sourcing analytics.🔹 Ensure full compliance with Tobacco Board regulations, statutory requirements, and audit documentation.What We're Looking For✔ Proven procurement experience in the tobacco/cigarette industry.✔ Hands-on experience liaising with the Tobacco Board and participating in tobacco auctions.✔ Strong knowledge of tobacco sourcing, grading, and pricing.✔ Experience procuring cigarette manufacturing inputs such as filters, cigarette paper, packaging materials, and related components.Preferred⭐ Experience working closely with Finance on procurement cost analysis and reporting.⭐ Established network within the tobacco trading and grower ecosystem..📩 Apply directly or send your profile via mail -pranshu@mounttalent.com .Feel free to share this opportunity with qualified professionals in your network.
