Procurement ManagerAldershot | £55,000–£70,000 | Office Based | Growing Business Are you an experienced Procurement Manager looking for a role where you can genuinely influence business performance rather than simply manage purchasing?We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing business that supplies products to customers across the UK and internationally. This is a key leadership position where you'll take ownership of procurement strategy, supplier performance, commercial negotiations and product compliance, while managing a small team and working closely with senior leadership.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining strategic thinking with hands-on operational delivery in a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment.The RoleYou'll be responsible for leading procurement across the business, ensuring products are sourced competitively while maintaining quality, compliance and supply continuity.Working closely with Production, Sales, Finance and Operations, you'll drive cost efficiencies, improve supplier performance and develop robust procurement processes that support continued business growth.Responsibilities include:Developing and implementing procurement strategyManaging supplier relationships, negotiations and performanceInternational sourcing, including Far East suppliersLeading purchasing, forecasting and inventory planningManaging procurement budgets and delivering cost savingsDeveloping supply chain contingency plans and managing riskDriving continuous improvement across procurement systems and reportingLeading product compliance, certification and audit readinessSupporting sustainability and responsible sourcing initiativesManaging and developing a small procurement and compliance teamWe're looking for someone with:At least five years' procurement experience within manufacturing, production or product-based environmentsStrong supplier negotiation and commercial management skillsExperience sourcing internationally, particularly across the Far EastKnowledge of inventory planning, forecasting and supply chain managementStrong ERP system knowledge with excellent Excel skillsExperience using data to drive commercial decisionsExposure to compliance, certification or regulatory requirementsExcellent stakeholder management and leadership skillsDesirableCIPS qualification (or working towards)Experience with Power BI, Tableau or similar reporting toolsKnowledge of ESG, sustainability or ethical sourcingWhat's on offer?£55,000–£70,000 depending on experience33 days holiday including bank holidaysCompany pensionOn-site parkingEmployee referral schemeHoliday purchase schemeLong-term career progressionA collaborative, growing business where your ideas are genuinely valuedIf you're looking for a role where you can shape procurement strategy, improve supplier performance and play a key part in a growing business, we'd love to hear from you.
