About the CompanyA leading international engineering and construction contractor is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join its Abu Dhabi team, supporting the delivery of technically complex building projects across the UAE. This is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading organisation with a strong pipeline of work across advanced technology, industrial and commercial developments.About the RoleReporting to senior management, you will be responsible for leading the procurement of subcontract packages and construction materials, ensuring projects are delivered on programme, within budget and to the highest commercial standards.ResponsibilitiesManaging the end-to-end procurement process for subcontract packages and construction materials.Developing procurement strategies aligned with project programmes and commercial objectives.Preparing tender documentation, evaluating bids and leading commercial negotiations.Building and maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and key stakeholders.Identifying and sourcing new supply chain partners to support future projects.Working closely with Commercial, Planning and Project teams to ensure procurement activities support project delivery.Monitoring market conditions, material pricing and supply chain risks to drive best value.Ensuring procurement activities comply with company governance, contractual requirements and project timelines.QualificationsMinimum of 10 years' procurement experience within the construction industry. With 5 years spent working with tier one main contractors in the region.Proven experience managing both subcontract and material procurement on major building projects.Previous experience working for a recognised main contractor or EPC contractor.An MEP background is preferred, although candidates with wider buildings experience will also be considered.Experience delivering data centre, high-tech, industrial or other technically complex projects would be highly advantageous.Required SkillsStrong commercial awareness with excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.Ability to manage multiple procurement packages simultaneously within a fast-paced project environment.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Pay range and compensation packageSalary range 30-35K AED + benefits
