Procurement Manager – Construction & ContractingLocation: Jeddah, Saudi ArabiaA leading construction and contracting Company is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead procurement operations across major projects.The successful candidate will be responsible for developing procurement strategies, managing suppliers and subcontractors, controlling costs, and ensuring materials and services are delivered in line with project schedules and specifications.Key ResponsibilitiesManage procurement activities for construction materials, equipment, services and subcontract packages.Develop and implement project procurement plans and sourcing strategies.Identify, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.Manage RFQs, bid evaluations, purchase orders and commercial negotiations.Monitor procurement schedules, budgets, lead times and material deliveries.Coordinate with project management, engineering, commercial, finance and site teams.Maintain approved supplier lists and evaluate supplier performance.Ensure procurement activities comply with company procedures and contractual requirements.Produce procurement reports, cost comparisons and savings analysis.Manage procurement processes through the company’s ERP system.RequirementsProven experience as a Procurement Manager within a construction or contracting company.Strong experience procuring civil, structural, architectural and MEP materials and services.Advanced working knowledge of ERP procurement systems.Strong supplier management, negotiation and cost-control skills.Experience managing procurement for large or multiple construction projects.Good understanding of contracts, purchase orders, logistics and supply-chain processes.Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering or a related discipline.
