Procurement Manager

Role OverviewWe are looking for a result-oriented Manager – Procurement to support and drive end-to-end procurement activities across raw materials, packaging, and indirect spends. The role will work closely with the Procurement Lead to ensure cost efficiency, quality compliance, supplier performance, and uninterrupted supply for business operations.Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement & SourcingExecute sourcing strategies for raw materials, packaging materials, and services as per business requirementsIdentify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors in line with quality, compliance, and cost benchmarksFloat RFQs, conduct negotiations, and finalize commercial terms with suppliersEnsure timely issuance of Purchase Orders (POs) and contract adherenceVendor ManagementBuild and manage strong relationships with existing and new suppliersMonitor vendor performance on cost, quality, delivery, and service levelsDrive continuous cost optimization and value engineering initiativesCost & Budget ControlSupport cost reduction and margin improvement initiativesTrack price trends, commodity movements, and market intelligenceEnsure procurement activities align with approved budgetsOperations & CoordinationCoordinate with Production, Quality, Finance, and Planning teams to ensure smooth material flowEnsure compliance with internal procurement processes and SOPsResolve supply chain or vendor-related escalations proactivelyMIS & ReportingMaintain procurement MIS, vendor databases, and documentationShare regular reports on savings, vendor performance, and procurement KPIsSupport audits and compliance requirementsDesired Candidate ProfileExperience5+ years of experience in Procurement / Sourcing rolesExperience in FMCG, D2C, Pharma, Nutraceuticals, or Manufacturing preferredSkills & CompetenciesStrong negotiation and vendor management skillsGood understanding of procurement processes, contracts, and commercial termsAnalytical mindset with strong execution capabilitiesProficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / similar)Ability to work in fast-paced, growth-stage environments
