POSITION: Procurement BuyerLOCATION: MUMBAIJob Description Floating enquiries to get techno commercial offers in timeEvaluation of commercial offer receivedCost base analysis to arrive cost to be finalizedPost technical evaluation report, Commercial negotiations with vendorsContract finalization ensuring zero riskEnsure availability of required documents post order for technical evaluationContract managementEnsuring timely delivery of material as per Project requirement including logistics in coordination with project execution team.Preparing Procurement trackerRequired exposure to SAP MM ModuleRequired exposure of Import, Export and freight forwarderNew vendor developmentPeriodic evaluation of vendors based on quality, delivery and cost performancePayment follow-up with Finance and execution coordination with project team..Qualification/Experience: Graduate Electrical Engineer from a premier engineering institute in India.Post Graduate Diploma in Material Management preferable10 to 15 years of professional work experience of Electrical items procurement in MEP contracting Industry.Desired Skills:Strong written and verbal communication capabilitySound technical knowledge in terms of various electrical items used in MEP projectsAbility to develop cost basis for various engineering products, services and packagesProficiency in management reporting (using excels, power points)Strong working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Management systems, internal processes, documentation management
