Interim Commercial ManagerWe are recruiting for an experienced Commercial/Procurement Manager to join a major London public sector organisation on an interim basis. This role sits within the Corporate Services Procurement team and is focused on delivering complex, high-value and strategic procurements across workforce-related categories, including consultancy, professional services, contingent labour and engineering/project-related requirements.Key DetailsContract: Until 18 December 2026Location: North Greenwich, London (Hybrid - 1 day per week in office, Wednesdays)Rate: £388.10 PAYE / £529.95 Umbrella per day (Inside IR35)Start Date: ASAPInterview: One-stage MS Teams interviewThe RoleYou'll lead high-value and strategic procurement activity across a range of service-based categories, managing procurement strategy, tender exercises, supplier engagement and commercial negotiations. The role requires someone who can operate independently, influence senior stakeholders and deliver successful procurement outcomes.Essential ExperienceSignificant public sector procurement experience.Strong background in services procurement.Experience leading large and complex procurement exercises.Procurement strategy development and market analysis.Commercial negotiation and supplier management experience.Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.Experience working with legal teams on contracts and terms & conditions.DesirableSAP Ariba experience.CIPS qualification or equivalent experience.Experience managing frameworks and supplier relationships.If you're interested in this opportunity, please apply with your latest CV.
