Location: CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra 400614 Experience: 8-12 years Salary: 9-12 Lakhs PA (Negotiable based on experience)Industry: Engineering / Construction Equipment ManufacturingEmployment Type: Full Time, PermanentRole & ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance.Lead the sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management functions Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to strengthen the vendor base.Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and service agreements to achieve maximum commercial advantage.Manage annual procurement budgets and drive cost reduction initiatives across all categories.Review and approve purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements.Monitor supplier performance through KPIs and ensure timely delivery of materials.Collaborate with Project, Engineering, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure uninterrupted material availability.Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, statutory requirements, and quality standards.Handle procurement planning, inventory optimization, and risk mitigation strategies.Resolve supplier disputes, commercial issues, and supply chain bottlenecks.Track market trends, commodity prices, and industry developments to support strategic sourcing decisions.Prepare and present procurement MIS reports, cost-saving reports, and management dashboards. Preferred Candidate Profile8 to 12 years of experience in Procurement/ purchase within engineering, construction Equipment’s, Manufacturing, Heavy Equipment, or Infrastructure Equipment.Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, vendor development, contract management, supply chain operations, Raw Materials, Machinery, tools, PPE, Consumables, etc.Proven experience in handling high-value procurement.Sound understanding of taxation, invoicing, logistics, and commercial terms.Excellent analytical, negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Excel, and procurement processes.EducationDiploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering.MBA in Supply Chain Management / Operations Management will be an added advantage.Compensation & BenefitsAnnual CTC: 9 lakh to 12 lakhProvident Fund (PF)BonusGroup Medical InsuranceGratuity and Statutory BenefitsLeave Benefits as per Company PolicyBachelor accommodationKey SkillsStrategic SourcingProcurement ManagementVendor DevelopmentVendor ManagementContract NegotiationCost ReductionSupply Chain ManagementCommercial ProcurementInventory ControlPurchase PlanningProcurement AnalyticsERP SystemsSupplier Relationship ManagementBudget ManagementMIS ReportingRisk ManagementContract AdministrationProject ProcurementEngineering Procurement
