Zepto offers an extensive range of 45,000+ products, from fresh groceries to electronics, beauty essentials, apparels, toys and more, delivering across 50+ cities within minutes.Zepto Cafe extends our commitment to convenience, featuring a curated menu of over 200 fresh items.Core Areas : Deep understanding of various packaging materials used by e-commerce / quick-commerce companies or F&V / food delivery industries viz bags, pouches, boxes etcQualification : Packaging Degree preferably from Indian Institute of PackagingEligibility : 5–7 years of relevant experience in packaging procurement and/or the packaging industry.Responsibilities, aka, what we’d like you to deliver : Bring deep technical expertise in packaging raw materials, designs, and specifications, especially paper, covering manufacturing, conversion, and finished-product processes.Drive packaging automation initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvement.Develop a strong Pan-India market understanding of packaging materials and supplier capabilities.Build a seamless packaging material supply chain with zero stockouts, collaborating closely with users and suppliers to enable JIT inventory.Leverage strong analytical skills to drive spend analysis, vendor performance evaluation, and market intelligence.Are you who we're searching forStrong procurement domain knowledge with expertise in negotiation strategies, cost drivers, and TCO concepts.Proven ability to drive RFX and reverse auction processes.Strong contracting and contract management skills.Hands-on experience in CAPEX and OPEX procurement.Cost- and quality-conscious approach with a focus on continuous improvement in procurement processes.Experience in procuring sustainable packaging materials.Strong adherence to process governance and procurement policies.
