Its solar-dried snack brand, Barefruit, offers clean, natural products with no additives, reflecting RSFP’s commitment to sustainable agriculture and nutritious food.Role Description The Procurement Manager will oversee end-to-end procurement activities to support RSFP’s solar dryer manufacturing and related operations. This full-time, on-site role based in Indore includes identifying and evaluating suppliers, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely availability of high-quality materials at optimal cost. The role involves negotiating contracts, monitoring purchase orders, tracking inventory levels, and collaborating with production, finance, and logistics teams to align procurement with organizational goals. The Procurement Manager will analyze market trends, mitigate supply risks, and maintain accurate documentation to support compliance and efficient sourcing. The person in this role is expected to contribute to process improvements, cost optimization initiatives, and reliable supply chains that sustain RSFP’s impact in sustainable agriculture.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong procurement skills, including experience in strategic sourcing and vendor management.Candidates should possess supplier evaluation and analytical skills to assess quality, cost, reliability, and performance metrics.Candidates should possess contract negotiation and contract management skills to secure favorable terms and maintain long-term agreements.Candidates should possess proficiency with procurement tools or ERP systems, and the ability to interpret data for decision-making.Relevant experience in manufacturing, agritech, food processing, or supply chain management is beneficial.Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.Strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site in Indore.Knowledge of sustainability-focused procurement practices and interest in supporting farmer-centric initiatives is an advantage.
