Procurement & Strategic Sourcing ManagerLocation: Brookfield, WI (On-site)Salary: $100,000-$120,000Type: Permanent; Full-timeWe’re partnering with a growing manufacturing organization in the Brookfield area to identify a Procurement & Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead the company’s purchasing and sourcing functions. This is a high-impact opportunity for a procurement professional who enjoys being hands-on, developing supplier strategies, driving cost savings, and leading a small team. Reporting directly to the CFO, this person will have significant visibility and influence across the organization.What You’ll DoLead the overall Procurement and Purchasing function, ensuring materials are available to support production and customer needsDevelop and execute strategic sourcing strategies focused on cost, quality, delivery, and supplier performanceNegotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms with suppliersIdentify and implement cost reduction, cost avoidance, and value engineering opportunitiesBuild strong supplier partnerships and lead supplier performance reviewsMonitor supplier and market trends that could impact cost, availability, and lead timesIdentify and mitigate supplier and supply chain risksBalance inventory investment, lead times, service levels, and procurement costsOversee domestic and international freight relationships, compliance, and costsTrack and communicate cost savings, cost avoidance, and material cost inflationServe as the primary resource for sourcing data, spend analysis, and procurement reportingLead, coach, and develop the purchasing teamEstablish team goals, monitor performance, and provide ongoing feedback and developmentPartner with Finance, Operations, Sales, and Engineering on procurement initiativesWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related field7+ years of purchasing, procurement, or strategic sourcing experienceExperience within a manufacturing environmentPrevious experience leading, mentoring, or supervising procurement professionalsProven experience negotiating supplier contracts and managing vendor relationshipsStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsSAP experienceAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including reporting, analysis, and forecastingWhy this role?Direct partnership with the CFOLeadership responsibility over a purchasing teamOpportunity to directly influence sourcing strategy and cost savingsBroad ownership across procurement, purchasing, suppliers, and inventoryFlexible start and end timesMedical, dental, vision, retirement plan, paid time off
