Procurement Manager

More information please find: https://www.shenlingglobal.comAbout the RoleWe are seeking a Procurement Manager to build and lead our procurement function for North American market. This role will focus on establishing the local supplier network, driving sourcing strategies, and implementing standardized procurement processes in alignment with headquarters. You will take full ownership of the 0-to-1 procurement system buildout – from supplier development and negotiation to framework agreements – supporting the efficient scaling of our U.S. business.What You'll DoSource and procure production materials for liquid cooling equipment, including mechanical parts, electrical components, fluid system parts, and specialized raw materials.Identify, qualify, and manage U.S.-based suppliers capable of meeting headquarters' technical specifications and quality standards.Lead supplier negotiations on pricing, lead times, payment terms, and long-term supply agreements.Establish and maintain a robust supplier database to support ongoing production needs and supply chain resilience.Coordinate with headquarters' engineering and production teams to align procurement specifications with manufacturing requirements.Manage purchase orders end-to-end – from RFQ and PO issuance to delivery tracking and invoice reconciliation.Monitor market trends and supply risks for key materials; develop contingency plans for critical components.Support the identification and onboarding of ASPs (Authorized Service Providers) for U.S. data center service projects as needed.Assist with service-related procurement, including subcontractor agreements and field service support coordination.Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and applicable trade regulations.QualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of procurement or supply chain experience, with at least 2 years in HVAC related industry.Proven experience in supplier development and contract negotiation.Solid understanding of the full procurement lifecycle (sourcing, bidding, contracting, order tracking, reconciliation).Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel or procurement systems for cost analysis.Strong risk identification and problem-solving capabilities.PreferredProcurement experience in data center liquid cooling system.What We OfferCompetitive salary + performance bonuses (level-dependent)Health/dental/vision insurance401(k) offered as applicableCompany vehicle or mileage reimbursement (for field roles)Travel per diemProfessional development
