The role serves as the primary procurement focal point within Taiwan, driving supplier performance, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and procurement excellence while maintaining alignment with regional and global procurement strategies.Additionally, the Procurement Manager will collaborate closely with the Central Procurement Team and support special procurement initiatives, strategic sourcing projects, process improvement programs, and other assignments as required.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES In-Country Procurement ManagementLead and manage all procurement activities within Taiwan.Ensure procurement processes comply with company policies, governance standards, and local regulations.Develop and execute procurement strategies that support business objectives and operational requirements.Drive cost optimization, value creation, and continuous improvement initiatives.Project ProcurementManage end-to-end procurement activities for project-related requirements.Develop sourcing plans and procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgets.Lead supplier identification, RFQ/RFP processes, commercial evaluations, negotiations, and contract award recommendations.Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials, equipment, and services to support project execution.Monitor supplier performance and proactively mitigate procurement risks impacting project schedules.Business-As-Usual (BAU) ProcurementManage procurement requirements for routine operational maintenance contracts, Customer Break Fix & Service Order based Procurement.Ensure uninterrupted availability of Spares and services required for DC operations.Maintain effective supplier relationships and service levels.Support internal stakeholders with sourcing, contract management, and procurement advisory services.Supplier Relationship ManagementIdentify, evaluate, qualify, and onboard suppliers.Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and service providers.Conduct supplier performance reviews and implement corrective actions where necessary.Drive supplier development initiatives focused on quality, delivery, innovation, and cost competitiveness.Contract & Commercial ManagementLead commercial negotiations to secure optimal pricing, terms, and conditions.Support contract development, review, and administration activities.Ensure commercial risks are appropriately identified and mitigated.Monitor contract compliance and supplier obligations.Stakeholder ManagementPartner with business leaders, project teams, finance, legal, operations, and other functional stakeholders.Provide procurement expertise and recommendations to support business decisions.Promote best procurement practices across the organization.Support to Central Procurement TeamSupport regional and central procurement initiatives, strategic sourcing programs, and category management activities.Assist with procurement analytics, market intelligence, supplier benchmarking, and cost-saving initiatives.Participate in global or regional procurement projects as assigned.Lead or support special tasks, procurement transformation initiatives, and process improvement projects assigned by the Central Procurement Team from time to time.Governance, Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure procurement activities are conducted ethically and in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.Identify and mitigate supply chain, commercial, operational, and compliance risks.Support internal and external audit requirements.Reporting & Performance ManagementMonitor procurement KPIs and performance metrics.Prepare procurement reports, savings reports, and management dashboards.Track procurement performance against budgets, schedules, and business objectives.QUALIFICATIONBachelor's in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related disciplineMinimum 8 years of procurement experience in the data center or mission-critical industry, with strong vendor management experience.Experience managing Consultant, LLE, MEP, and EPC contracts.Strategic, self-motivated, and results-driven, with the ability to execute procurement objectives.Able to manage multiple projects and deliver quality work under tight deadlines.Strong communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills in English and Mandarin.Experience supporting procurement across Taiwan and the APAC region.Willing to travel frequently for OEM meetings, factory inspections, and project coordination.At BDx, we believe that our success lies in the hands of our talented and dedicated employees.
