Procurement Manager

Role Purpose:Jindal India Limited is looking for an experienced Lead – Strategic Raw Material Procurement to work closely with Top Management, driving strategic sourcing, commodity market intelligence, cost optimization, supplier development, and supply risk management.The role will have a direct impact on procurement competitiveness, profitability, and business continuity across key raw materials including HR Coil, Zinc, Magnesium, Paints, and other critical commodities.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic sourcing and procurement strategies for key raw materials.Provide commodity market intelligence, price outlook, and buying recommendations to Senior Management.Drive cost optimization, commercial negotiations, and procurement savings.Build and manage a strong domestic and global supplier network.Identify alternate sourcing opportunities and proactively manage supply and commodity risks.Drive long-term contracts, import opportunities, and inventory optimization.Work on alternate and cost effective sourcing strategies considering scalability of operations.Track commodity, freight, currency, and global market trends to support procurement decisions.Collaborate with Business, Finance, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure supply continuity and business alignment.
