Apply & track with Apply EdgeJob PurposeAccountable for procurement governance within the assigned portfolio.Lead and develop the procurement team to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness.Ensure a structured, disciplined, and transparent procurement approach.Develop and implement sourcing strategies that drive cost effectiveness and efficiency.Manage the CAPEX purchasing process from requisition review through purchase order issuance.Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, specifications, and guidelines throughout the procure-to-pay cycle.Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement LeadershipPropose innovative and cost-effective procurement strategies that positively impact business performance.Deliver successful bid awards that are competitive, cost effective, and low risk.Manage procurement policies and procedures within the assigned portfolio.Drive innovation, continuous improvement, and accountability within the procurement team.Process ManagementLead complex negotiations, including planning and preparation.Resolve issues affecting tender and contract completion.Identify contractual and tender-related risks and recommend mitigation plans.Coordinate audit requirements and implement corrective actions.Provide guidance on policy deviations and first-occurrence procurement matters.Advise on category procurement strategies and opportunities for economies of scale.Improve vendor performance through effective supplier management.Identify opportunities for cost savings, value delivery, and procurement efficiencies.Conduct market analysis to anticipate supply risks and market changes.Develop sourcing strategies across multiple procurement categories.Oversee supplier contract negotiations, compliance, and risk management.Ensure governance standards are maintained during tender evaluations and contract awards.Manage RFQ/RFP development, tendering activities, bid evaluations, and procurement administration.Review service contracts, KPIs, SLAs, and recommend contract modifications when required.Oversee contract variations, renewals, terminations, transfers, and price reviews.Review submissions prepared for Tender Committees.Analyze procurement expenditure, purchasing activities, and sourcing performance to drive continuous improvement.Business StrategyLead procurement best practices, benchmarking initiatives, and technology adoption.Promote cost management through efficiencies and effective contractual arrangements.Oversee supplier contract reporting and spend analysis.Support supplier evaluation methodologies and procurement improvements.Align procurement activities with current and future business requirements.Identify alternative suppliers, products, materials, and services to improve value and performance.Stakeholder & Relationship ManagementCollaborate with technical, legal, finance, HSE, and operational teams.Support the achievement of operational objectives across the business.Work with business leaders to establish short and long-term objectives.Coordinate procurement planning and workload distribution with department heads.Develop and maintain strategic supplier and business relationships.Support implementation of procurement policies, processes, and strategic initiatives.Perform additional duties as assigned by management.QualificationsEducationBachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline, preferably Supply Chain Management.MCIPS or equivalent professional procurement certification preferred.ExperienceMinimum 10 years of professional procurement experience within a regional or global organization.Previous experience managing procurement teams.Strong expertise in:ProcurementStrategic SourcingCategory ManagementSupplier Relationship ManagementCustomer Relationship ManagementSupply Chain ManagementCore CompetenciesCustomer FocusDelivering ResultsDeveloping PeopleTeamwork & CollaborationEffective CommunicationChange Management & AdaptabilityLeadership & People ManagementStrategic Thinking and Decision Making
