Procurement Manager

CSP has partnered with a growing commercial services company seeking a Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing, supplier relationships, purchasing operations, and cost optimization initiatives across a multi-brand, multi-state organization.This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for consolidating purchasing efforts across business units, driving measurable savings, improving vendor performance, and supporting the integration of newly acquired companies into a centralized procurement model.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute sourcing strategies across major spend categories including materials, fleet, tools, equipment, and indirect spending.Negotiate pricing, rebates, payment terms, freight agreements, and service-level commitments with suppliers and distributors.Consolidate supplier relationships and establish preferred vendor and national account agreements.Drive cost savings initiatives while ensuring material availability for field operations and project schedules.Manage supplier performance through scorecards, business reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.Establish and enforce procurement policies, purchasing controls, and approval processes across multiple locations.Partner with operations, finance, and leadership teams to align purchasing strategies with business objectives.Optimize inventory levels across branches, warehouses, and field operations to reduce carrying costs and emergency purchases.Build and maintain spend analytics, KPI reporting, savings tracking, forecasting, and rebate management programs.Support acquisition due diligence and lead post-acquisition procurement integration efforts.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.7+ years of progressive procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience.3+ years of procurement or sourcing leadership experience.Proven success negotiating supplier agreements and delivering measurable cost savings.Strong analytical capabilities with advanced Excel and ERP system experience.Ability to influence stakeholders and drive compliance across decentralized locations.Excellent communication and relationship management skills.Preferred ExperienceConstruction, field services, mechanical contracting, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, life safety, or building services industries.Multi-site organizations and acquisition-driven environments.Supplier rebate programs, national account agreements, and procurement integration initiatives.CPSM, CSCP, or other relevant procurement certifications.Why Consider This Opportunity?This role offers the opportunity to build and standardize procurement processes within a rapidly growing organization.
