Procurement Manager- Dairy or FMCG - Zimbabwe

Position Name:- Procurement ManagerLocation:- ZimbabweIndustry Specification:- Dairy Divison or FMCGRoles and Responsibilities:-Manage local and international procurement in line with production plans, quality requirements and approved budgets.Source, evaluate and develop reliable suppliers; negotiate pricing, credit terms, delivery schedules and contractual conditions.Prepare weekly and monthly supplier payment plans with Finance and Treasury, prioritizing production-critical commitments and cash-flow availability.Maintain and control contract and purchase-order trackers covering quantities, prices, validity, deliveries, payment milestones and outstanding commitments.Monitor inventory, consumption and lead times to prevent shortages, excess stock and emergency purchases.Manage imports from order placement through shipping, customs clearance and final delivery, including documentation, duties and landed-cost control.Track shipments and coordinate suppliers, freight forwarders, clearing agents, transporters, banks and regulatory authorities.Identify and escalate supply, quality, documentation, payment and commercial risks; provide accurate management reports.Candidate specification:-Bachelor s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Logistics or a related field6 7 years relevant procurement experience, including strong exposure to the dairy, food-processing or beverage industry.Sound knowledge of dairy raw materials, ingredients, flavors, specifications and supplier-quality requirements.Proven experience in payment planning, contract execution, imports, shipping documentation, customs duties, Incoterms and landed-cost calculations.Experience in handling Dairy Imports/ExportsStrong ERP and Excel procurement-system capability.Interested Candidates can share there updated cv at beta@achyutam.co.inAchyutam International is a leading Recruitment Agency for Jobs in Africa, Middle East and Asia, both for Expatriates and for Local professionals.
