قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجOne of our clients in Dubai is looking for Procurement Manager - (Joinery) with sourcing and procuring materials, furniture, fixtures, equipment (FF&E), and other interior products for commercial and residential fit-out projects. At least 5 years of experience in a managerial role overseeing procurement processes specific to the interior fit-out industry (luxury).Responsibilities:1.Supplier and Vendor Management:•Identify and source reliable suppliers and vendors for materials, finishes, FF&E, and other interior elements.•Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with suppliers to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials.2.Material Procurement and Management:•Oversee the procurement of materials, ensuring they meet the design and quality specifications for each project.•Manage inventory levels, ensuring timely delivery of materials while avoiding delays in project timelines.3.Cost and Budget Control:•Develop and manage procurement budgets, ensuring that all purchases align with financial goals.•Conduct cost comparisons, value engineering, and identify opportunities for cost savings while maintaining quality.4.Vendor and Supplier Relationship Management:•Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, conducting regular evaluations to ensure consistent quality, service, and timely deliveries.•Resolve any issues with suppliers, including delays, quality control issues, or incorrect deliveries, ensuring minimal impact on the project.5.Project Coordination and Collaboration:•Coordinate with project managers, designers, and other departments to ensure procurement aligns with project timelines and design requirements.•Ensure that material delivery schedules are in sync with the construction and installation phases of the project.6.Contract Negotiation and Management:•Negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the project, including pricing, delivery schedules, and warranties.•Monitor contract compliance and handle any issues or disputes that arise during the procurement process.7.Quality Control and Compliance:•Ensure all procured materials meet industry standards, building codes, and project specific requirements.•Conduct inspections of materials and ensure they are fit for purpose, ensuring no compromise on the quality and safety of the materials used in the fit-out.8.Sustainability and Green Procurement:•Source eco-friendly and sustainable materials in line with the company’s environmental policies.•Keep up to date with industry standards for sustainable design and procurement, incorporating green products into the fit-out projects where feasible.9.Risk Management:•Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks such as supply chain disruptions, quality issues, or budget overruns.•Develop contingency plans for alternative sourcing or product substitutions in case of unforeseen challenges.Requirements:•Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in procurement within the interior fit-out, construction, or related industries.•At least 5 years of experience in a managerial role overseeing procurement processes specific to the interior fit-out industry.•Experience with sourcing and procuring materials, furniture, fixtures, equipment (FF&E), and other interior products for commercial and residential fit-out projects.•CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager) or CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) can also be beneficial.
