A Procurement Manager for Sales and Marketing buys media, advertising, events, and branding services while managing agency and vendor relationships.Key Responsibilities :Category Strategy & DevelopmentDevelop, implement, and optimize category strategies for all marketing items (e.g., creative, media, digital, events, PR, production).Analyze market trends, spend data, and business needs to identify opportunities for cost savings, value creation, and innovation.Experience in Roadshows, Events Etc.Define annual category roadmaps aligned with marketing plans and corporate strategy.Sourcing & Procurement:Lead the end-to-end procurement process for marketing services including media planning & buying, creative and branding agencies, event management, digital solutions, and promotional materials.Identify qualified suppliers, evaluate proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure competitive pricing.Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and approval workflows.Support Marketing in supplier selection, campaign-based purchasing, and project-specific negotiationsVendor Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and agencies. Ensure vendor performance is monitored through KPIs, service-level agreements (SLAs), and regular performance reviews.Conduct periodic performance reviews and drive continuous improvement initiatives with vendors.Resolve supplier issues, manage escalations, and ensure delivery to agreed standards.Contract Management:Negotiate and manage contracts to ensure favorable terms, cost efficiency, risk mitigation, and compliance with internal policies.Cost Optimization:Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive efficiencies without compromising on service quality or brand objectivesStakeholder Engagement:Collaborate closely with internal Sales & Marketing teams to understand requirements, provide procurement guidance, and ensure alignment of sourcing strategies with business goals.Market Intelligence:Stay abreast of market trends, innovations, and best practices in marketing procurement to drive continuous improvement and competitive advantage.Required QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.Experience: 5 to 10+ years in strategic sourcing or indirect procurement, with a specific focus on marketing and professional services categories.
