Procurement Officer (7,000 AED0 - Dubai - Residential Maintanence / Facilities company

Key ResponsibilitiesSource and purchase materials, tools, equipment, spare parts and services required for residential maintenance and facilities management operations.Procure items relating to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, civil works, painting, carpentry and general property maintenance.Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations based on price, quality, availability, warranty and delivery timelines.Prepare purchase orders and ensure all required approvals and supporting documentation are completed.Negotiate competitive pricing, payment terms, credit facilities and service agreements with suppliers.Develop and maintain a reliable database of approved suppliers and subcontractors.Build strong relationships with local suppliers across Dubai and the wider UAE.Coordinate closely with operations, maintenance, technical and finance teams to understand purchasing requirements.Respond quickly to urgent material requests and emergency maintenance requirements.Candidate RequirementsBachelor’s degree or diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.Minimum of 3 years’ procurement experience in the UAE.Previous experience within facilities management, residential maintenance, property management, construction, MEP or technical services is essential.Strong knowledge of UAE suppliers for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, civil and general maintenance materials.Good understanding of maintenance materials, technical specifications and spare parts.Proven experience obtaining quotations, preparing comparative statements and issuing purchase orders.Strong negotiation, supplier-management and cost-control skills.Ability to manage multiple purchasing requests and work effectively under pressure.Excellent organisation, communication and problem-solving abilities.Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and procurement or ERP systems.High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.Good written and spoken English.A valid UAE driving licence is preferred.Salary budget: 7,000 AED per month + medical + visa + flightsPlease send CV's to David@therigrecruitment.com
