Procurement Officer

We are recognized for high-end, sustainable projects delivered on time and within budget, making it one of Abu Dhabi’s top turnkey fit-out solution providers.Role Description The Procurement Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi, responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement and purchasing activities that support interior design and fit-out projects. Day-to-day tasks include sourcing and evaluating suppliers, obtaining and comparing quotations, negotiating contracts and pricing, and preparing and processing purchase orders in line with project schedules and budgets. The role involves coordinating with design, project management, and finance teams to ensure timely delivery of materials, furniture, fixtures, and services, while maintaining quality and cost efficiency. The Procurement Officer will track inventory and deliveries, maintain accurate procurement records, and analyze purchasing data to optimize vendor performance and reduce costs. This role also supports compliance with company policies and local regulations, and contributes to continuous improvement of procurement processes and supplier relationships.QualificationsStrong procurement and purchasing skills, including experience managing end-to-end sourcing and supplier management.Proficiency in handling purchase orders and related documentation, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project requirements.Demonstrated ability in contract negotiation, including pricing, terms, and service-level agreements with vendors.Solid analytical skills to evaluate quotations, compare supplier performance, and support cost optimization and budgeting.Relevant experience of minimum 5-6 years in office interiors, fit-out within the UAE market is a must.Knowledge of local procurement regulations and standard contracting practices in Abu Dhabi and the wider UAE.Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and capability to handle multiple projects at once.Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.Proficiency with MS Office and procurement or ERP systems; ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field preferred.
