Procurement Officer

Job Title: Procurement Officer Location: Sharjah, UAE Salary: AED 3,500 – AED 5,500 per month Experience: 1–2 years Language Preference: TagalogJoining: Immediate Joiner Preferred About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Officer to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have 1–2 years of procurement experience, preferably within a construction, contracting, engineering or related industry. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, coordinating with suppliers, obtaining quotations, negotiating prices and ensuring timely procurement of materials and services as per project requirements. Key Responsibilities • Handle day-to-day procurement activities and purchase requirements. • Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, availability and delivery timelines. • Obtain and compare quotations from multiple suppliers. • Negotiate prices, payment terms and delivery conditions with suppliers. • Prepare and process purchase orders and procurement documentation. • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials. • Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers. • Coordinate with project, finance and operations teams regarding procurement requirements. • Monitor purchase orders, deliveries, and outstanding orders. • Maintain accurate records of suppliers, quotations, purchase orders and invoices. • Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative suppliers where required. • Ensure purchased materials meet the required specifications and quality standards. • Follow up on pending deliveries and resolve supplier-related issues. • Assist in maintaining an updated supplier database.Requirements • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. • 1–2 years of relevant procurement experience. • Experience in a construction, contracting, engineering or related company is preferred. • Good knowledge of local suppliers and the UAE market is an advantage. • Strong negotiation and communication skills. • Good knowledge of Microsoft 365. • Ability to manage multiple purchase requirements and meet deadlines. • Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills. • Language Preference: Tagalog• Immediate joiners are highly preferred.
